Above the roofs of Saalbach lies the Astergut – nestled among a splendid, alpine landscape. In summer, lush meadows and colourful flower fields surround our holiday rental, in winter, guests enjoy direct access to the piste.
The excellent location on the sunny side of Glemm Valley lets you enjoy plenty of sunshine outdoors even in the cold season, and promises a unique view across all of Glemm Valley, idyllically surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Pinzgau Grass Mountains.

The Swiss pine is also called the “Queen of the Alps”. For this reason, we have decided to use this wood for the private sauna in the boutique apartment. The soft fragrance, the pleasant surface feel and the wonderful appearance ensure moments of pure well-being in the private spa zone. In summer, you can enjoy the view of the alpine meadows, and in winter the direct view of the piste enthrals.

Saalbach Hinterglemm is the venue for the Alpine World Ski Championships 2025! The detailed concept for racing, events and organisation, the unbeatable expert know-how on site and the perfect pistes all combined to ensure perfect conditions and be awarded the 48th Alpine World Ski Championships, to be held in Glemm Valley from 04– 23 February 2025.
In addition to the major sporting events, cool events and great programs can be found all year round in Saalbach Hinterglemm. Guided hikes are just as popular as regular talks and presentations, spectacular shows and exciting activities.
